If you are anything like me, you like to use up your scraps but at the same time making cute, useful things. This is one of my favorite and i would like to share it with you. I needed to make about ten dry erase board erasers for my class at school and i thought that this would be a great idea.
Make 2: Black
Row1: create a magic loop, dc 11 into the middle
Row: 2 dc in each stitch around
Row3: 2dc, 1 dc, repeat around.
Row4 : sc 2 around.
Belly: White
Row1: create a magic loop, dc 11 into the middle
Row: 2 dc in each stitch around
Row3: 2dc, 1 dc, repeat around.
Sew the Belly to one of the black pieces.... Then you can put eyes on and feet if you want. (They are sewn on)
The you can sew the 2nd black piece on the back. If you partially sew it on you can get a pouch.
Once every thing is sewn together, join black yarn on the side of the penguin, 5dc into the stitch, do the same on the other side.
